Title: When you don't think straight: Canal + Upgrade

Yesterday I played a game where I had 7 coins at turn 4 and looked at the fancy Canal event.

"Oh great! Everything is one coin cheaper!" I thought to myself.

Didn't realize how dumb that was until I played upgrade and saw my coppers turn into estates.

Look on the bright side, at least they stopped upgrading into Poor Houses!
