Title: Gaining Inherited Estate and "when you gain an Action"

If I workshop an Inherited Estate, does this trigger Defiled Shrine, Academy and Innovation? I assume so, I just want to have it confirmed. Thanks.

Yes. After you gain the card we look for what triggered, and those things trigger.

Thanks. I just realized this is currently irrelevant for Defiled Shrine, since there are never VP tokens on the Estate pile. :P
