Title: Where to find logs?
Post by: GendoIkari on October 23, 2018, 05:22:01 pm
How can I get a game log from a game ID? People post game IDs all the time, but I dunno what that means.

When you try to make a table, there should be a button that says "Load Old Game". There you can copy the game ID to load it.

This only works if you own the sets that were used in that game. If you don't, your best chance is hoping that someone uses Dominion Woodcutter (http://ceviri.me/woodcutter/) to load it for you.

Thanks, but what I'm looking for is basically what Dominion Woodcutter uses to get its information... is there a URL on Dominion.Games that can provide the game info based on the ID? There must be something like that for Woodcutter to work.

I think in order to put a game into Woodcutter, you need to reload the game and then it takes the log from there. It needs a logged-in player in Online Dominion in order to get logs.

Ah... I see now. Checked out the "How to use" on Woodcutter; so people have to manually choose to import their games into Woodcutter. Ok, so I'll probably just need to grab the logs from Woodcutter for my [kingdom] generator then.
