Title: Prince with Duration Cards

I tried to use prince with enchantress, naively thinking that after the duration it would safely return to the mat. After the duration the game log said 'enchantress went away from Prince.' Do all duration cards just not work with Prince?

If you want the full explanation, it's because Prince sets aside the card when it's discarded in the cleanup of the same turn it was played. Prince fails to do so since the duration doesn't get discarded that turn, so when Prince checks to see if the duration is set aside next turn, it's not there, so it fails to play it and doesn't set up the cleanup phase effect to set the duration aside.
