Title: Level Volatility
Post by: bobbydj18 on September 13, 2018, 10:34:55 pm
So I've generally been 55-56 for a while, even peaked up to 57.5 or so.  Recently been going on an insane run down and actually below level 53 currently.  Do other people experience swings like this.  I don't think I'm playing on tilt heh...

I don't really experience swings like that, but one thing I have noticed is that some I tend to hover around 55, most of my opponents agree in the mid 40s, meaning I win a lot of games but my level doesn't change. I've checked many times and my search settings are default, so I don't know what's causing this. I also don't know why I'm rambling on about this in this thread; it's late and I'm tired.

It happens a lot. If you get unlucky as a level ~55 and lose to a level 40 player, you lose a lot of rating. There are always those Sea Hag boards you can't do anything about.

It's common to occasionally go a few levels below what you usually are.
