Title: NBA Playoffs
Post by: Chappy7 on April 24, 2018, 05:56:17 pm
Huge Utah Jazz fan here.  I'm also a Trailblazers fan, but they choked hard.

Anybody here care about the NBA? Who's your team?

Yes! I知 a Celts fan specifically but I watch the entire league as well. I have also occasionally had to clear space on my phone when it has filled up with a backlog of NBA podcasts.

I don't watch NBA at all; but am always happy when I hear that the Celtics are doing well; so a quick Google search tells me that I'm happy! Cuzz, are you from Boston?

It was too bad you guys didn't get to see my man Hayward playing.  That injury was gnarly.

Yeah, I wrote off the whole season 5 minutes into the first game. I thought it was impressive how well they did without him, and then to see them with a good chance to win a playoff series without him or Kyrie is just ridiculous. I'm excited for next season if everyone is healthy. Tatum and Brown and even Rozier have been surprisingly awesome.

I think Hayward might end up being pretty redundant with Tatum playing so well.  They might regret that big contract soon.

So that was rough for the Jazz...

Yeah it wasn't great.  That's okay though.  I expected Russ to have at least one good game, and I'm pretty confident the Jazz will win game 6 at home.  As long as both Russ and Push-off P don't both go nuts at the same time again.

I'm probably not as big an NBA fan as I once was, but playoffs mean a new season of Game of Zones, so that makes me happy.

Poor raptors.  They're actually one of my top teams as well.  But man they just don't show up in the playoffs.

The end of game 1 was Raps v LeBron in a nutshell. It痴 like they believe in their heart of hearts that they can稚 beat him and get the yips even when they should have the better team.

Raptors-Cavs is same as Capitals-Penguins, at least up until yesterday
