5 diadem
4 bag of gold
3 princess
2 trusty steed
1 follower
-
You should swap Princess and Followers from that list.
-
Trusty Steed isn't usually the best Prize, but it is usually the one I get first when I can.
-
You should swap Princess and Followers from that list.
Why do you think princess is better than follower

Why do you think princess is better than follower
If you're the only one with access to +buy, you're very likely to win. If you're the only one with access to cost reduction in a kingdom with plenty of +buy available, you're very likely to win. At least one of those statements is almost always true when you get Princess, which is to say that you're very likely to win if you get Princess.
Followers is not that game-deciding. It's just a weaker version of Margrave that hands out junk cards to both players.

I know, but you draw two cards which can be very good and then you get that estate which gets you a point ( which would be better if you had inheritance ) then they get a curse which gets a junk card in their hand and loses them a victory point then they have to discard down to three which can be very painful, what else could you ask for

Wouldn't you know it, your ranking of the prizes matches with the overall community consensus for 2017:

That isn't to say there are no differing opinions about the prizes.
Edit: oh you Had Diadem in last instead of Bag of Gold. It was a still a close margin this year for those two prizes.

True but follower is really good with cards that favor estates like pasture, baron and inheritance
Princess doesn't have very many combos that I can think of right off the top of my head

I rank the cards on Qvist so part of that is my vote

Princess combos:
Workshop, Festival, Market, Artisan, Pawn, Baron, Bridge, Ironworks, Coutrier...
These are just from Base and Intrigue.

Princess does have one pretty significant combo which is always present: itself.

Workshop, Artisan and Ironwork I understand, but can you explain why the other ones go well with princess?
-
Because they have +buy, and every card with +buy is much better with Princess as you get more bang for your buck.
-

There is only one princess, so you can't play two princesses in one turn unless you have something like throne room.
-

That's true. I never thought of it that way, but I still am keeping my original ranking. If princess made cards cost three less, then I would have to say that princess is the best one.
-
How would you rate them
-
I know that princess is winning the poll right now. But I hope that follower takes the lead. We will just have to see.
