So I goofed.  As I said in the Discord:

the admin panel was like PLS UPGRADE
and i was like ok but don't you need like PHP 5.4
and it was like nah it's cool 5.3 is good
and i was like do i really need to upgrade the forum is fine
and it was like SECURITYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
so i clicked upgrade
and it immediately broke
because i didn't have PHP 5.4

But I undid the update, eventually.
