While trying to Process Witches into Raiders (you gain nothing), I realized that the fact that Night cards are not Actions has some pretty serious implications for some of the older cards. Which cards get the biggest buffs and nerfs from this new card type?
In addition to Procession interactions, I'll start off with Shanty Town. This is a big buff for Shanty Town because you can have a hand full of Night cards, and Shanty will still draw for you!

nerfs:
scrying pool, ironworks, ironmonger, magpie, orchard, vineyards, sacrifice, herald, vassal, golem, throne room, king's court, inheritance

Wandering minstrels will skip over Night cards.
Your opponent's rabbles will topdeck your Night cards.
City Quarter will not improve its draw from Night cards.
You can't put tokens on Night piles.

There might still be a Night-Action card.

nerfs:
scrying pool, ironworks, ironmonger, magpie, orchard, vineyards, sacrifice, herald, vassal, golem, throne room, king's court, inheritance
prince, quarry
And it's funny that my games kept on having these cards. Qvist keeps on getting anti comboes on his stream games too.

In fact, there likely will be. Shuffle iT has action-night in the templates.

I don’t think you can say it’s strictly a nerf for Golem; it might be nice to have a deck built around a couple Night cards and a particular Action and know that Golem will always hit that Action.
-
Good draw is especially important now, because in an engine, Night cards sort of work like a non-terminal non-drawing card (similar to Treasure).
You can, however, gain Raider and other Night-Attack cards when trashing Squire.

Yeah, I can see this expansion having similar problems as Prosperity in that it introduces what are essentially stop cards into an environment that prefers actions. Still, I doubt any of them will be as bad as, say Royal Seal.

Highway and Bridge Troll get upgraded into an even more exclusive club.... cards that can discount Night (only) cards!
