Hi everyone!
The current season is ending on 11 Sep. Usually, next season would start on 18 Sep, which is exactly when the Shuffle IT Tournament is starting (you should really check that out if you haven't already! (http://forum.shuffleit.nl/index.php?board=37.0)). Thus, we're delaying next season by four weeks to 16 Oct to avoid too many clashes.
Four weeks sounds like quite a lot? At the moment, we assume that there will be between 256 - 512 contenders at that tournament, making it 9 rounds = 9 weeks. Assuming further that a dozen of our league-steeled comrades will go quite far in the tournament, it's probably reasonable to wait for the the tournament to hit the top 32 stage.
