What can I do to save my friends from leaving? Or do I just need new gaming friends? :P Any ideas on how I can make it seem interesting to them again?

That's really hard to answer unless you shred some light on why they lost interest.
Maybe add some new cards to your collection?

My first image was snowboarding.
I don't know what to say that might be helpful. All my Dominion players moved away and despite my best efforts, I have not yet converted any new regular players.

OP, are you single? Just find that one special someone to play against for the rest of your life.

I run a tournament with my friends about 3 times a year. 90% of them arn't obsessed enough to play Dominion online like I am but the tournament night gets everyone pumped. I often think that people will be getting sick of it but once we get the medieval music cranking a bit of dinner, maybe some sangria then everyone is keen! I try to get 3 or 4 tables of 4 players so its pretty sociable but even the worst players dont like seeing the 10% of us who play more frequently win so they are out to kill. I call the night COMDOM... Competitive Dominion.

This is very important when considering a spouse; will they play Dominion, if so, how much and how well?

Don't push it too hard, try finding ways to showcase some of the cool mechanics, but if your friends still aren't into dominion, just play against people online.

Find others to play Dominion with, like a regularly meeting boardgame group or online. You'll be happy and your friends won't have to play a game they don't enjoy anymore. If you don't have the time for that, just skip Dominion. It's a great game, but still just a game. You'll get over it, and there are so many other games, too.

Well, I recently got married, and my wife loves games, and she will play dominion with me, but frankly, she isn't as good as me. She still likes to play, just not that often. She definitely prefers other games. (Lords of Vegas and Castles of Mad kind ludwig are favorites in our house)
As for why my friends lost interest, I think they just got tired of it. They didn't quite get how cool this game can be.
I have tried adding new cards to my collection, but Lots of the guys I have played with don't like adding complexity to the game, so they don't love learning the new ones. One of them still insists that buying golds is always the best idea :P
I like that idea of having a tournament night. That sounds great. Thanks

Are there any board game events in your area? That might be a solution if your friends don't want to play that great game anymore. Or check facebook for playmates.

Ugh... that's what I like about Dominion... all of the complexity. At least throw one or 2 expansions on there for something on the fancier side!
