How do I reach out to my opponent so that (s)he can crush me?
So me against the wife in the first round. :P
Aleimon Thimble - SirDagen: 4.5 - 1.5
In case you wonder, challonge doesn't allow floating point numbers so it's 45-15 there :-[

That is very strange to me. So next time you have to double all scores...
So this is complicated.Another thing the mods can do is watch the stream.
First game ended on opponent disconnect. I think I was ahead enough to be the clear winner, he does not and wants a replay, so that game is indeterminate. I'll PM the log shortly. I started that game. Then we played the other 5 games, which reached 3-2 his favor. For Game 7, I won.
So: Chris is me 3.? - Hertz Doughnut 3

5.11 If the game was still close, simply replay the game.
5.12 If the lead was almost insurmountable for one player, award a win to the player who was ahead.
5.2 If you have trouble coming to an agreement, put the match "on hold" and message the admins with the situation that occured. Finish the rest of your five remaining matches and if nobody exceeded 3,5 points, await the moderators' decision.
Chris and I had a thrilling, close contest, and this write-up is accurate. One of the nicest people I've ever encountered. All I wanted to add is my pov that, while I admit Chris was in a better position at the time of the unfortunate disconnect in game 1, I do not think the position was "almost insurmountable" (rule 5.12). (Chris purchased the first Province, and on my next turn, my client bugged, while I had a hand that was likely to score my first Province.) I suppose it's up to the admins to make that assessment. If it is possible, I would be happy to finish that game from that point on.
Second, neither of us consulted rule 5.2 during the match to notice that we were supposed to put the match on hold before playing game 7. Chris won game 7.
Let us know how to proceed.
Kind regards,
David
What about playing the LAST game for the final win?So this is complicated.

To sign up, you had to be a forum member. You can contact other forum members through the PM function.
To do so, go to that member's profile and click the "Send PM" link, or from the top bar, click "My Messages", then "Messages > New Message" from the inbox.
jsh also made a Discord channel for this tournament (http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=16329.0), which you can use for real-time coordinating.
I'm definitely willing to replay the game from the point of disconnection with Skype and proxy physical cards,, but I do think my lead is almost insurmountable. Mods feel free to PM me if you'd like me to explain how I feel the game would have played out.
Here's the game in question. (http://www.gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?http://dominion-game-logs.s3.amazonaws.com/game_logs/20161004/log.0.1475544296608.txt) At disconnect I had [Fishing Village, Fishing Village, Wharf, Wharf] in duration and my hand was [Fishing Village, City, Copper, Wharf, Copper] + [Estate, Estate, Estate, Wharf] (drawn from duration Wharves).
Kind regards,
David
Hertz_Doughnut graciously conceded via PM, so the "official" score is now Chris is me 4 - Hertz Doughnut 3

Ummm, I have a result for round 2 already - hope that is allowed. (I'm travelling next week and gloures graciously agreed to play this week already.)
tufftaeh 2 - 4 gloures
Edit: ninja'd :)
Ok, this is a round 2 game since Tufftaeh asked me to play our Round 2 match early since he is going to travel next week. IŽll post it here, is it ok?
gloures 4 - 2 tufftaeh

Hi,
My understanding is that round I goes all the way until Sunday (included) - correct?
I've been trying to contact my opponent with no luck throughout the week (pm + email). I will keep trying, just wanted to check until when did we have time. (I'd really hate to win by walkover as odds are I should likely lose given rankings).
Thanks!
Polk5440 defeats greenloweawesome 3.5 to 1.5. Fun games!
