After all the fun we had at the Empires release party in July (just ask ehunt, Faust, teamrocketgrunt or Watno), I would like to host another IRL Dominion weekend at my place in Karlsruhe. We can play Saturday and Sunday, and if you want to stay overnight, you can use one of my 5 guest beds/mattresses.

If you are interested to come, please select your possible dates there. I will post the final date in about two weeks.

So far, Watno (and drsteelhammer (?)) are the only forum regulars who have added their preferred dates to the Doodle poll. Luckily, several non-Forum friends of mine have already done so as well, so the second Empires weekend will definitely happen. The most popular date is October 29/30 by now. If anybody else wants to affect the date, there is time until about Sunday when I will close the vote.

Yes. It will happen on October 29/30 in Karlsruhe, starting Saturday at about noon, ending Sunday evening.
Please post here or send me a PM if you need directions to my place.
And tell me if you want to stay overnight so I can reserve a guest bed / mattress for you.
If you come by train, please tell me when your train will arrive at Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof, so I can pick you up.
All this is meant not only for the good Doctor but for anybody who wants to join: the more, the merrier!

I'll be at Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof around 11:10. But I also have no problem trying out the public transport if you don't want to drive there.
Also, I'll gladly take a matress/some place on the floor at your place :)
Let me know if I should take any cards with me (base cards? or maybe an expansion you dont have)

Hope I remember to bring a Dominion box cover with me - last time Watno luckily had a Dominion cap.
If you don't meet me at the platform, go to Exit South and look for a black Golf GTI.
Your mattress is booked. It would be nice if you can bring a sleeping bag.
I have all expansions, but an additional set of base cards can't hurt.
I even hope to have the Second Edition cards until then because I travel to Washington DC in two weeks. :D

Cool, I'm coming from Hamburg and will arrive 11:08 according to schedule. We can identify each other by Dominion merch if you like, but I don't mind exchanging pictures beforehand ;)

I am in Regensburg for this month but sadly I have stuff planned for the date.

I have brought the second edition update packs from my US trip last week, so we'll get to play new cards again probably for the first time in Europe.
Unfortunately I cannot change the thread title to "Second edition release party in Germany" which would sound less questionable. ;)
This time, there will be at least 10 players on Saturday, but if anybody else wants to join in, there's still room for more.
