Hi,
The current Dominion French Editor (Ystari) just said a few days ago he wont publish Empires in French (at the end of this thread http://www.ystari.com/cherchez-une-aventure-en-boutique/).
Is someone here who know if there will be another french editor to publish it or May I have to buy an english edition of Empires ?

If the French publisher doesn't want to publish it, I doubt that some other French publisher will be recruited. If that were possible it would be pretty unfriendly to the current French publisher; probably it would just need to be that RGG switched French publishers.
The problem with Empires is the metal tokens. They're expensive. Several publishers decided against doing Empires because of how expensive the tokens were. We have offered them chits to use instead. The problem is that then you look so cheap, having chits instead of the pretty tokens. I believe a few publishers will use the chits though, rather than skip the expansion.
IIRC only Germany will have the metal tokens, while Japan and the Dutch will have the chits. But I won't know for sure that any particular language will have it until someone reports getting it.

No, I can't even confirm that it's coming. You could ask them directly.
I often do not know a foreign version is coming out until someone says they have it. I happen to know that Empires is coming in German and Japanese though.

I was told by someone who claimed to be a translator for the Polish versions that Polish translations of Adventures and Empires are in the works.

Antwoord van 999games.nl: De verwachting is eind september half oktober maar er is nog geen exacte datum van bekend.
Answer from 999games.nl: It is expected in late September mid-October but there is still no exact date known

Thanks for that confirmation, at least. Hobby Japan have been suspiciously reticent about it. Finally emailed them when I realised it's September already and I still don't have a copy.

I got an email from a local board game store that said Empires in Dutch is expected to arrive November 15. The Dutch title is 'Keizerrijken'. Some of the cards in Dutch can be seen here: http://www.999games.nl/dominion-keizerrijken.html
Kind of a bummer that it's still not there, but at least we have a date now.
