Current Card List (http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=10093.msg569866#msg569866)

This thread is for feedback on contest winners - tweaks to wording, playtesting experiences, etc.

Re: Prawn Shop

The name is obviously silly. The original concept for the card was "Choose 2; get the other 2 at the start of your next turn", but I decided that made more sense for a cross-set submission and simplified it. Anyway, that version is basically a Pawn now and get the rest of your Market later on, so Pawn Shop, and it's Seaside, so...

The version I went with is probably fine at $3. The flipped version (Card+Action now, Buy+Coin next turn) is a delayed Market, in the same way that Caravan is a delayed Lab. I find the current version more interesting and unique, but it's also trickier to play. I don't think you would want to open with two of these (maybe with Shelters; colliding them without Necropolis is just bad); and I don't know that trying to chain them as delayed Markets is all that great as a main strategy (certainly not at $4 if there is any competition). I view it as more of an engine piece - you probably want a buy, and while this turn is just a Herbalist, next turn you've got an extra card and action to keep your engine from stalling.

I thought the name was one of the best features about the card. I mean, I like the card too, but Prawn Shop just has an amazing ring to it.

What do you think about naming it Fish Market?

I originally called it Fishmonger, actually.
