Title: Trade and 5/2 openings

If you open 5/2, you can't use Trade to immediately trash two coppers and gain two silvers, since you have nothing in your hand after playing all five coppers and before buying. Right?

Right. Is there anything in particular that made you think it might be otherwise? Of course there's always edge cases; such as if your opponent opened Lost City.
