Title: Blink for a 5 yearold?
Post by: skitter on April 05, 2015, 08:19:46 am
I hope this is the right place.
I want to buy my son a blink game (see image for example)

Do you think it will be good for a smart 5 year old?

https://boardgamegeek.com/ is the site to ask.

Who is playing with him? If it's kid vs adult then a game like Uno would be better because it's turn-based. Speed games like Blink tend to be Dominated by adults.

If you'd like an alternative then you could try "Hey, that's my fish?" (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/8203/hey-s-my-fish). I gave one to my 5 year old great nephew for Christmas and he's enjoying it.

Hey That's My Fish
Catan Jr
Pina Pirata
Buccaneer Bones
Carcassone, without farmers
Blokus

Plus a few more.  Kids are 5 and 3
