Another one that's been running through the mind of late:
Attain the elusive 6/6 opening, gaining 12 cards through turn 2. Shenanagain and again for maximum gains.

Baker in the kingdom, shelters.
5/2
T1: Play 5 coppers, use Baker coin. Buy Stonemason, overpay 4, gain 2 Nomad Camps
T2: Necropolis, Nomap Camp, Nomad Camp, 2 coppers. Do this 3 times: Buy Stonemason, overpay 1, gain 2 Poor Houses.
EDIT: Wait, no, it doesn't work, I'm missing some coins. Let me think.

5/2, Baker in Kingdom.
1) Buy SM, overpay 4, gain Death Cart (w/ 2 Ruins), Nomad Camp (topdeck). Draw NC, 2 Coppers, Estate.
2) Play NC, buy DC (w/ 2 Ruins), another Ruins.
That's 9 cards, but not 6/6.
