Right, so if you can have a "best moment 2014", then you've gotta also have those moments when you just want to slap yourself for doing something ridiculous. Or maybe things just didn't go as planned.
For every best, there's a worst. This thread is share those embarrassing moments that you really don't want to share. Those ones where you're glad there was only one person there to see, and that there was no chat area.
Mine, today, wasn't completely awful, but it was still embarrassing nonetheless.
I had a Leper (2/1) on the table.
My opponent had a Croc, (2/3).
I thought I had Animal Companion in my hand, so I grabbed it and threw it onto my side of the board... just to realize it was Kill Command. I never reestablished board control after that.

Boy, not much humility around these parts, eh? Either that, or a lot more perfect players than me. :P
So I might've Ancestral Healing'd an Auchenai Soulpriest today... That didn't work quite as planned.

This wasn't me, but the Handlock guy I played today tapped with 10 cards in hand.
-
Misclicking during my Arena draft causing me to pick Eye for an Eye. Yeah, it felt so awful I feel it's worth posting.
-
I always, always, always hit myself with Perdition Blade's combo damage.

Haha, yeah, just the other day I was playing as Mage and I was about to hit the opponent's face with Fireball and I realized I could secure the win with a slightly different approach and I pulled my finger back and released the fireball into my own face (iPad controls). It was a close game so I just resigned right afterwards.

I used to do this all the time. Counting is hard.

Math is hard!

Tapping with handlock on both turns 2 and 3 as P2 is a mistake I made the first time I played it.

While playing miracle, I've definitely shadowstepped a Leeroy with a full hand and an auctioneer on the board.

Someone in Arena just tried to kill my Gurubashi Berserker with Avenging Wrath. He needed 5 damage. He got 3.

He wins the achievement of trying to get your opponent to resign from the longest turn ever.

With my ramp Druid, I drop Troggzor on my turn 5 having played a wild growth on T1 and T2. He has a bloodmage thalnos on the board. On my T6 I Faceless the Trogg and hero power the Mage. He heals to 25 with AoL. I then Alex him to 15, double face to 3.
Then lose to Savage Roar-Trees.

Against Druid, always play around FON+Roar combo on turn 9 and later, if you can. It sounds like here you had enough board presence to clear his stuff, and had Alex to heal up to 15, so it's really unnecessary to lose to the combo.

Technically it was his T8 -- he innervated it. I just forgot, though.
I will say, the Innervate-FON-Roar while I had two Troggzors on the board was cool to watch.

Ah okay. Innervate+combo is just a bad beat. Can't really play around that unless you're way ahead.

Playing Priest in Arena. Shaman is P1.
Despite half the deck having cost <4, in seven draws I manage to get exactly one card with cost <4, which is Thoughtsteal.
Opening hand: Thoughtsteal, Lightspawn, Temple Enforcer, Mass Dispel
Shaman T1: Argent Squire
Me T1: Draw Fen Creeper, wonderful, Pass
Shaman T2: Whirling Zap-o-Matic, 1 Face
Me T2: Draw Undertaker with nothing to activate it, so it's not even an obstacle. Coin into Thoughtsteal, get Target Dummy, Whirling Zap guy. OK, Dummy will at least absorb one hit from the Windfury guy.
Shaman T3: Stormforged Axe, kill Dummy, 7 Face... Dust Devil?!
Me T3: Draw Mechwarper. Dammit. Mechwarper, Undertaker... Zap-o-Matic would just be an extra 2 face damage, but I might be able to use it later.
Shaman T4: Axe into Undertaker, Dust Devil does 3 Face and kills Warper, 7 more Face. Taunt Totem
Me T4: Mass Dispel
Shaman T5: Windspeaker to give the Whirler its Windfury back, 7 Face
Me T5: Fen Creeper
Shaman: Hex, end game.
I had zero chance.

Didn't happen to me, but happened to my opponent in arena. My opponent coined out Puddlestomper on turn 1. I play Shielded minibot. My opponent plays Mad Bomber, which kills the puddlestomper and hits my face for 1 damage.
-
Well, I found someone even braver than the Avenging Wrath > Gurubashi Berserker guy.
This Mage played Arcane Explosion and Arcane Missiles when I had a Frothing Berserker and an Ironfur Grizzly out.
She needed two shots of the Missiles to kill my Berserker. She got one.
The next turn, I played Rampage.
Edit: Actually, in retrospect, the Mage just needed two of her missiles to hit my minions, since she had a Sorceror's Apprentice in play and a ping left over for cleanup. The worst case scenario would've been a disaster, though, and she got it.

I lost to Cobra Shot in arena.
