Title: AGOT: 2nd edition backwards compatibility
Post by: D3Games on November 15, 2014, 05:14:06 pm
Does anyone have any idea if FFG plans to have any semblance of backwards compatibility between the 1st edition and recently announced 2nd edition. I tweeted at them but haven't heard a response and can't find any specific info anywhere.

For obvious reasons, I *assume* it won't be.

There might be cards that are compatible "by accident", similar to how some CCG cards are compatible with the LCG version, but I'm certain they're not taking any steps towards compatibility.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I also think they are planning to make some not so insignificant changes to gameplay, too.

Will play my first games of Thrones 2.0 tonight. I'm hoping my hate/hate relationship with 1.0 at least gives way to love/hate. I want to like this game so badly!

so um...

Anyone want three 2.0 cores and the first chapter pack (Taking the Black)? Would love to trade these away to a good home, will gladly lose value on a trade, I owe the world some karma.

so you didnt like it? I really love it and its what drags me away from dominion. Especially given how poor the current online version is and how they didnt release Adventures yet.

Anyone else here playing aGoT 2?

No.  Netrunner is just better.
