This is the final entry list for the 2011 DominionStrategy.com Championships.

Assuming no more entrants (a big assumption), these will be the seedings.
By my calculations, this will result in four first round matches with opponents 10 hours apart. There are no matches where opponents are 11 or 12 hours apart. I think those four matches are an acceptable price to pay for an otherwise precisely accurate and objectively seeded bracket.

Do the match-ups go
1 vs. 256
2 vs. 255 ...
So I am seeded 216, to find my match, I go 257-216 = 41.
Is that how the first round will be set up?
Thanks.

Yep! Although it's certainly possible for someone else to enter and upset the seedings, there's a not-insignificant likelihood your opponent is already determined.

When will these be officially official? And will an actual match list be posted (in case some people can't do math correctly or someone joins in before midnight tonight [EST? PST?])?

Midnight, and yes. There's going to be a full-fledged bracket.

I messed up. I posted my isotropic name as rudeboy432 but I meant to say rudeboy666. Sorry about that but I also have the account rudeboy432 on there so technically its me but its a lower level than my other one.
Edit: If I at one point owned the name rudeboy432 on there I no longer remember what email I used...

I'm sorry, this could not be the right place where to post my question, but I cannot detect a better place.
I'm seeded 238 (I'm a noob) and I'm supposed to face the number 19 who is nomnomnom. Is it right? Isn't it better to post the first round pairings somewhere? How am I supposed to contact my opponent to find an agreement on playing time and other stuffs (veto mode, colony vs province game, ...)?
Thank you :)

I would try a PM here in the forums.

My opponent is eleven hours ahead of me... I'll see what I can do though!

I can fix your name in the bracket and entry list (and I just did), but I'm afraid you'll have to live with your seeding, since I can't alter the entire bracket.

Oops. :-[ My bad!

Final Entry List has been updated a bit. I've updated the statistics pages to show a round-by-round progression. Naturally, lower-leveled players lost more than higher-leveled players, but all of the regions performed about equally. In fact, it's striking how the regions performed almost perfectly as expected.
Overall, there were 27 upsets, including one walkover, with "Upset" being defined as a higher seed losing to a lower seed.
Biggest upset is basically a tie between dude8awesome (Drakkar), the 245th seed, beating roed, the 12th seed, and rudeboy666, the 244th seed, beating HiveMindEmulator, the 13th seed.

There's now 33 players left in the tournament. (Two third-round matches have yet to be completed, and one fourth-round match has already been completed.) A couple of big names are conspicuously absent, but most of the high seeds are still in.
The lowest seed remaining in the tournament is Qvist, initially seeded 145th.

Wow, haven't even thought of staying in the tournament so long. I was trying to get to the second round, now I'm in round 4. Let's see if I can improve that ;)
